HALLOWEEN 2009

This is a little late, but that is how it goes! We had a fun Halloween and the kids looked so cute! Justice was a Moto X rider! Some family friends let us borrow all the gear and we got him a cute Fox Racing hat to wear with it! He felt pretty awesome and looked awesome too! Talon was a deer and was a deer hunter. My Mom and I made their costumes and they looked so cute too! They all had so much fun! Here are some pictures from all the fun!

CARVING PUMPKINS
Justice drew the cutest face on his pumpkin and then I helped him carve it! He was so proud of it!

TRICK OR TREATING
We went out trick or treating at the park in PG, to a few houses in AF, so Justice could see Ryker, and then around my parents neighborood. Not too much, but just enough!

Boys will be Boys

We had quite the week this week!
To start it off, we thought we were going to have a nice, calm, night watching the Yankees win the World Series. I put all the boys in the shower down stairs and started scrubbing Cardon. I got done with him and wrapped him in a towel and took him to Brad to get dressed. On my way back in, Justice yelled, "Mom, Talon is bleeding!" So I went in and sure enough his chin was split open and was bleeding. Brad grabbed him out, and Justice hurried and scrubbed himself. I called my Mom and she came over to watch Cardon and Justice while we went to Alpine Pediatrics after hours clinic. We asked Justice if he saw what happened and he told us, "that he and Talon were trying to trip each other." Obviously Justice succeeded. And he felt so bad!

We got to the Dr. and they started getting him numb right away. They just put some gel on it, because they didn't want to do injections if they didn't have too!

Poor little man was not to happy about being held down!

It was pretty deep and the fatty tissue was hanging out, and they had to trim that back. They got the stitches in and we were on our way! We have to get them out on Thursday. Cardon was so concerned about his twin brother while we were gone! I had sent these pictures to my Moms phone while we were gone, and Cardon had to hold my Mom's phone the whole time and keep looking at the picture. He would not go to sleep until we were home and he saw his brother. We didn't get home until after 11! Such cute brothers:)

Our next adventure began on Friday.
Brad and I went to the dentist because Brad needed a buildup. So the kids were at my Mom's house. We got to my Mom's and Brad was watching t.v. and My Mom and Jodie took Harlie to her 4 month appt. I went upstairs to check something on the computer. Brad got up from the couch and started running toward my Mom's grandfather clock and yelling NO. I immediately started running down the stairs and only made it about 3 steps before I fell and landed on my tailbone and down the stairs I went while hearing a loud crash and when I got to the bottom all I saw was Cardon under the clock trapped and glass everywhere. Brad lifted the clock off of him and we headed to the ER. I could hardly sit in the car to hold Cardon, because my butt was hurting so bad, but I was so sad for Cardon. He had glass still in his head. My Mom met us over there because we couldn't have our other kids with us because of the flu pandemic going on. No children under 14 in the hospital. Talon was obviously so worried, Cardon kept telling us Tally did it! And then Talon would say Tally did it in a sad voice. We went back and they removed the pieces of glass and gave him 2 staples, no anesthetic.

They checked him out everywhere else, and thought he seemed okay other than minor cuts and bruising. Poor little guy!

Cardon watching T.V. after the incident, while we were cleaning up the mess!
I am so thankful for my kids and am glad that they are okay! I just keep thinking how this could have been so much worse! We just have Justice locked in a rubber room for now so we won't have any more injuries for a while! ;)
Thanks for all the help from my Mom and Jo and Corey through all of the trauma.
And for all the family that called and text us to make sure we were okay!
We love you!
And I just have to add that my Dad was leaving for a hunt to Canada the day the clock tipped over and was on his way to the airport and was so concerned and kept asking if he needed to come home. I thought that was so cute and nice of him!

A little Late, But Happy Birthday Boys!

Talon and Cardon turned 2 years old a couple of weeks ago, and I am still shocked at how fast those 2 years went by! I still feel like they should look like this:

Their Grandma Nancy and Papa Layne weren't going to be able to make it for cake and ice cream on there birthday, so they came the day before. They brought the boys some cool motorcycles and cute outfits! I don't think they put their motorcycles down for a couple of days! Thanks guys!

They were excited to wake up and see this sign hanging on the wall. During their naps Justice helped me decorate their cakes. He is my little buddy and loves to help me.

Everyone came over later that night for cake and ice cream. We opened gifts first, and as you can tell from the pictures it was a bit of chaos. We then sang Happy Birthday and they blew out the candles. Thanks for all the gifts everyone gave them!

They were so excited about all their new toys and couldn't decide what to play with! They loved their new "Woody Buzz" stuff from Grandma Cheryl and Papa Bob, since they are obsessed with Toy Story 2 right now. And that is what they call it "Woody Buzz".

I didn't get any pictures of my Grandpa Grace there, but I was totally shocked he came. He had been sick and had fallen down the day before. But he showed up and brought them some cards and money and wrote them some cute noted in them. I love my Grandpa so much and am thankful that my kids get to know him and see the wonderful man he is!

I love Talon and Cardon so much, and am thankful that they are in my family! They are talking so much and make me laugh all the time. They are definitely 2 though and it is double the trouble! I love that one minute they are the best of friends, and then the next minute the worst of enemies! We love you guys and hope you had a great day!

Catching up for my sister Jess:)

So I have been a bit of a slacker lately and my sister Jess who lives in Arizona (who we miss so much) doesn't let me forget that I need to update! So since this is my only form of journaling/scrapbooking, there is a bunch this post so sorry:)

We went to the Farm Country at Thanksgiving Point with some of our good friends, Brandon, Candice, Aiya, and Khloe. The kids had tons of fun, and were so cute looking at the animals.

Justice is always setting up a ramp and to go off on his bike. This time he set one up so that Talon and Cardon could actually do it too. They had so much fun doing this. Justice also wanted to take some pictures of Brad and I. He thought that was so much fun to have us pose and pull crazy faces!

We signed up Justice to play soccer in Pleasant Grove this year. He did pretty good for the most part, but sometimes struggled and got bored. I don't know if he will be a soccer star, he was easily distracted, but it was fun watching.

Brad had a Muzzleloader deer permit in Vernon this year, and has been so excited about it because I kept telling him he wasn't gonna get a bigger buck that my Vernon deer. And he got a great buck, and yes it is a little bigger than mine, which I was happy for him! Thanks to my Dad and cousin John for going out with him! Good Job Brad!

We went to Cornbelly's and took my nieces Eryn and Kaitlyn. The kids had a blast and we had fun watching them on all the fun stuff!

Today at Justice's Preschool it was "Pocket Day"! They were supposed to wear as many pockets as they could. So I sewed some nifty pockets on a shirt for him, and he wore his cargo pants. I love that little kids think things are so neat! Justice loved the shirt and was so excited.

Talon and Cardon wanted their pictures taken after Justice. They are so funny and keep me laughing! One minute they are Best Friends, and one minute the worst of enemies. But they really do love each other so much!
