Christmas 2008

I guess this post is better late than never huh? We had a great holiday this year. I was a slacker and didn't take many pictures though. We had Christmas Eve at my parents house. My sister Jen and her family was there also. We ate some yummy food and tons of snacks. Of course all the kids opened their PJ's from Grandma and Papa. Justice was so excited because he got Handy Manny PJ's. The kids thought it would be fun to play Rockband, and it was for sure. We played that for a while, and all the kids kept checking where Santa was online with Papa Bob. He was getting closer so everyone thought that we better call it a night. It was a lot of fun and I love spending Christmas Eve with my family!
It was fun to be at my parents house for Christmas this year. We woke Justice up and told him that Santa came, and he stood up and started jumping on his bed, but he wasn't really awake. Cardon was fine with waking up, but Talon was a kind of mad about the whole idea. But as soon as we got downstairs everyone was happy. The twins were thrilled with the balls that were sitting by their stack of presents, and could have cared less about anything else. Justice was excited about everything, he even got excited when he opened up clothes! He was so cute, but he was most excited about his Handy Manny he got. That is just what he asked Santa for! We all got lots of fun stuff and are thankful for everything that we were given.
Later that morning, Jodie and Corey came down, as well as the Stafford's. We exchanged gifts with the adults and kids, and then ate yummy breakfast. We sure missed the Young's! After that we headed over to Brian and Bethanie's to do gifts with Brad's Mom and Layne. It was so snowy that Haleigh and Steve weren't able to make it, we wished they would have been there, but we still had a fun time. That evening we went to Brad's Dad house for sandwiches. It was fun being able to spend time with everyone!
Brad was able to take a week off after Christmas, and it was so much fun to have him home! The kids loved waking up to Dad in the mornings, not just mom. I really enjoyed being able to spend some extra time with Brad during the holidays! That was the best gift ever!
I hope everyone had a great Christmas! I love this time of year and I can't beleive it is already 2009!
