The Farm at Thanksgiving Point

Me and Justice met our friends Jen and her son Ryker, and Nicole and her girls McKynlee and Baylie for lunch today at JCW's in Lehi. After lunch we headed over to The Farm at Thanksgiving Point. The kids had fun checking out all of the farm animals and of course the pony ride. We have tons of fun hanging out with these guys and can't wait to do something again!

All Caught Up

Ever since Talon and Cardon came home from the hospital, Avon with Welcome Baby has been visiting us once a month to check the babies progress. She comes to our house and weighs and measures them, and made sure they were doing what they should at the stage they were at. She always compared them at their adjusted age, which was their actual 40 week due date, which was Nov. 14. They were born on Oct. 14, she wanted to make sure they were at least doing what they should at their adjusted age, which was one month younger. They were always doing more that that, and she was always impressed. Yesterday was their last Welcome Baby appointment. Avon said that they are completely caught up where they should be and there was no reason for her to check them anymore. She and their pediatrician both say that just by looking at them, you would never even know that they were preemies. I am so glad that they are doing so well! I cannot believe that they will be one in October. Thank you Avon we had so much fun getting to know you and we will miss seeing you every month!

Fun Pictures of the Boys

I thought I would post some pictures of the boys so you could see how big they are all getting! I can't believe that Justice starts Pre-School next month. He is so excited and asks me almost everyday when it starts. It will be so good for him to go and interact with other kids his age. He told me the other day, Mom I need friends. It was so cute, because we just moved in with my parents and doesn't have friends in the neighborhood. Talon and Cardon are 10 months today! I can't even believe that. We had a coed softball game last night and I was thinking about what I was doing at this time last year and I was big and pregnant in the bleachers cheering for Brad. The twins crawl all over the place and pull up to anything possible. They have started to crawl up the stairs, which is super scary! I am so thankful for my 3 handsome sons and the joy they bring into my life!

5 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

Our 5 year Wedding Anniversary was on August 1st. We were able to have a little getaway, thanks to my parents watching the kids.

Yeah, I know this is a rare shot of me and Brad together! We went to Snowbird and stayed overnight. We had a good time together, and it was not long enough, but we made the best of a quick trip!

This is us riding the lift up to do the zip line and alpine slide. They were fun, but not quite the excitement we had hoped for! We needed something a little faster and longer, but it was still fun.

Here we are pulling up our little sleds to go down the alpine slide.

Here comes Brad hauling butt down the track! He was a regular old pro!LOL

We rode the Peruvian Chair Lift up the mountain next. It was really pretty and was a nice opportunity to just enjoy one anothers company. It was about a ten minute ride, and at the top there was a tunnel through the mountain that took you to the other side where you could see into American Fork Canyon. This is a picture of us after we went through the tunnel. Another rare shot:)

Well we headed back through the tunnel and there was some sweet music playing, I think it was a little old school Janet Jackson. Well as you can see we got a little goofy! There was no one else in the tunnel, so we let our true colors come out I guess! How embarrassing! Just kidding we were having a blast and laughing pretty hard.

Yep, Brad found the bed! It was a fold down one, we thought that was funny! We drove down the canyon later that night and went to dinner at The Olive Garden, wandered the mall, and went to The Dark Night. That morning we got up, checked out and went to the breakfast buffet, stuffed out guts and headed home. We had so much fun and can't wait to do something like this again!
I am so thankful to have a wonderful husband. Brad and I have been together for almost 9 years now, and I fall in love with him more and more everyday! He means the world to me and I don't know what I would do without him. He is truly my best friend. I am looking forward to spending many more years together! We were able to go to the temple with my sister Jodie and her husband Corey today. It was such a neat day. It was nice to be at the temple wit
h Brad and remember our special day 5 years ago! Congrats Jo and Corey, we are so happy for the decisions you have made in your lives
I love you Brad! Happy Anniversary!!

Memory Lane

Thanks to Heidi & Shari, I thought this looked like fun!

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

I think it's fun to take a trip down memory lane, and it's always good to have a laugh or smile about the past. So leave a comment and I'll do the same for you.:)

It has been a while

So I guess I have been a huge slacker! It has been almost a month since I have blogged last. We had a birthday in our house last month. Justice turned 3 and I can't even believe it. Justice wanted to have his birthday party at Cabela's this year.

He looked so cute in his new birthday outfit. I decided I would make his cake again this year. I imagined it in my head and thought I would give it a try. It always looks better in your imagination, but it turned out okay, Justice loved it and that is all that matters! It was camouflage and had a trail in the middle for the nifty four wheeler on top.

Justice was so cute while everyone was singing to him. He kind of paced back and forth with a shy smile and sang to himself. We had cake and ice cream, open presents, and went shooting at the shooting gallery. Thanks everyone for the cute gifts, Justice loved everything and everyone that was there!

We are so thankful for Justice and that he is in our family. We hope he enjoyed his birthday party! We had Justice's birthday party on Friday, but his birthday was really on Sunday. So we kind of made a weekend of it. On Saturday morning we went to Lowe's for the Kid's Club. Justice loves to do this, we go the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month. We go with my friend Morgan and her kids. You can see Ashton and Boston in the background.

They get a cute apron and goggles to keep!

He loves to be able to use the hammer by himself.

We saved our presents for Justice and gave to him on his real birthday.

I loved these cute pictures of him! He was so surprised and excited about these funny gifts! But he liked the gift we gave to him at Grandma's house the very best!

We gave him a camo four wheeler and a helmet. He loves them and he looks so cute riding on it.

Another thing that went on at our house was that all three boys got the lovely "Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease". It was quite enjoyable...not. If you don't know what that is, they get blister type sores on their hands, feet, and mouth. They say that the ones in their mouth hurt the most. Justice had it first and it wasn't to bad, but it was awful with the babies. They didn't want to drink their bottles because their mouths hurt so bad. But we got through it fine. Thank goodness that if you have had it once, most likely you won't get it again. They also told us that adults generally don't get it. But I guess I should re-phrase what I said above. All four boys got it! That is right Brad ended up getting it too!

Some of you might know that we had our house up for sale. We got an offer and we accepted it. We will be closing on July 31st if all goes as planned. We have been helping my parents move to their new house (where we will be living for a little while until we find something). So we are kind of tired of moving already, but oh well what do you do? We are excited to move, but we have been able to get to know some really fun people in the last couple of months. But I know I will keep in touch with them for sure!

Oh and Talon and Cardon are crawling! It is so cute! I thought that maybe since they were preemies they might do everything a little slower, but yeah right, they are right on schedule. Oh well it will be even crazier now. but I love every minute of it! I have some cute video of it that I will post soon.

Tag I'm it!

I've been tagged by Jen!

Favorite Ice Cream: Anyone who really knows me should know this...CHOCOLATE of course!
Favorite Childhood Memory: We used to go camping every year with my Grandpa and Grandma Grace. All the aunts, uncles, and cousins went also! I loved going out hiking with Grandpa listening to him whistle a tune, shooting the guns, and of course the Easter Egg Hunt.

Favorite Color: It was always blue, but I really don't know. I used to hate brown, but I love it now. So probably BLUE and BROWN.

Love to Read: Yes I do! I used to hate it, of course when I had to do it for school. If I could only find the time now, I have a big stack I would like to read.

Birthday: April 25th

Heels or flip flops: I am definitely a flip flop gal:)

My dream car would be: I really like the new Dodge Challenger! But I really want something that doesn't need gas to run! LOL

Top 3 Stores: Hmm...Not really sure. I guess Wal Mat since I have to go there all the time, Target, Old Navy?

One person I'd love to meet who is alive: Hey I am a nerd, but I wouldn't mind meeting Ryan Sheckler or Kyle Korver, it's a toss up!

How many kids would you LOVE to have..you know if you actually had to say it? I always wanted 4 growing up. I still think 4, but if I was rich and could afford it, I might have a few more:)

Second Job (not first or current): It was at 5 Buck Pizza Buffet while I was in High School.

Favorite Teacher: I really liked my first grade and fourth grade teacher. It was the same person, but only in first grade she was Mrs. Heinzig, and in fourth she was Mrs. Taylor. I also was an aide for her in my Senior year of High School. She was great!

Something people would be shocked to know about me: Can't think of one

And then tell us how you met your honey: We used to save seats for each other on the bus in Jr. High, but thought nothing of it. We hung out when he was in 10th grade and I was in 11th through mutual friends, and it all started there. Been together ever since, that was almost 9 years ago!

I love him so much! He is so handsome!

I am tagging my sisters Jen, Jess, and Jodie:)
