My sister Jodie invited The Boys and I to go with her and some of her friends to the Hogle Zoo over Spring Break. We had a lot of fun and the boys loved seeing all of the animals. Talon and Cardon were so scared of the carousel, until it started going around and then they loved it. They all absolutely loved the train ride, even though it is all of like 30 seconds long:) It was kind of a rushed trip, but we had tons of fun and are glad that Aunt Jo invited us!
We had a fun Easter this year! It gets more fun as the boys get older and actually get what is going on. They were so excited to wake up and see that the Easter Bunny had come, and left them a note:)
The Easter Bunny brought them all Sunglasses, Flip Flops, Drink Cups, Carrot Bats, and too much candy! The Easter Bunny comes to our house on Saturday morning.
We headed over to Grandma and Papa's later to do our Egg coloring. Justice always wants to do it at Grandma's house. He is so sweet and always likes to do everything with Grandma.
And then the Stafford's came over for lunch and an Easter Egg hunt! The kids had a great time and got some fun stuff from Grandma and Papa.
Later that night we went to dinner with Brad's mom and siblings and their kids. We had a fun time, but I forgot my camera so there are no pictures of that. Grandma Nancy gave the kids some fun stuff for Easter, but they were most excited about the money in one of the Eggs:)
On Easter Sunday we went to my parents and watched both sessions of conference and had a yummy dinner after with the Stafford's. We had a nice holiday, and hope you all did too!
So I found all of Brad and I's prom pictures and thought I would share the laughs with you:)
I know, I know, you are thinking we were 13 right? But no, I was a Junior and Brad was a Sophomore in High School. So, so goofy!
Yeah I know, not much better:)
Well, this picture didn't scan in very good, but much better. Apparently Brad and I decided to go tanning and not be albinos this year. And we look older, and I would hope so since I had already graduated, and Brad was a Senior.
Here are some pictures of the kids with their Valentine's from Brad and I! They were excited, and Talon and Cardon couldn't wait to try on their new backpacks, and Justice his basketball shorts!
On one of Brad's days off we took the kids to the Bean Museum at BYU. The kids love to go there, and it is great because it is FREE. Who doesn't love free:)
Every time it snows the kids are begging to go out and play. Talon and Cardon loved shoveling the snow, and Justice just loved running through it and throwing snowballs. And of course Brad loved snow blowing:)
So I have some catching up to do! I haven't even posted Christmas, and it is February. The week before Christmas, we went to the Zoo Lights with Brad's Family. It was fun but so cold. I only took a couple pictures and they aren't great, but here are all the grand kids bundled up.
Brad and I took Justice to a Flash game. He had a fun time, and loved seeing the fox. We try to take Justice on a date with us every now and again. He is so cute and he says the funniest things. He got a little bored, as you can see he was climbing on the rails:)
On Christmas Eve we go to my parents every year. We had a lot of fun and the kids opened their pj's from Grandma and Papa. They also got some fun Color Wonder coloring books and markers and loved coloring in them. We ate really good food, and watched a cute Christmas movie!
Santa spoiled the kids this year and they loved it! Papa Bob and Grandma Cheryl came and watched the kids open their presents. It was so much fun this year. They got so excited and all I needed for Christmas was to just their happy faces! We had a great day filled with a lot of visiting everyone!
Brad and I first met riding the bus to American Fork Junior High School. We would save each other seats, but little did we know that only a few years later we would start dating! We crossed each others paths again when I was 16 and a junior at American Fork High School, and Brad was 15, and a sophomore at the same school. We dated all through high school, yes we were high school sweethearts! Brad asked me to marry him on Valentine's Day in 2003, and we were married August 1, 2003 in the Mount Timpanogos Temple. We decided to start our family not long after and we had Justice Ray in 2005. He has brought so much joy into our lives. We decided to have another baby, and we ended up with two! We had Talon Richard and Cardon Robert in 2007. We have had so much fun having twins, and don't have any complaints! They are such good babies, thank goodness! We love being parents and love each other very much!
