A little Late, But Happy Birthday Boys!

Talon and Cardon turned 2 years old a couple of weeks ago, and I am still shocked at how fast those 2 years went by! I still feel like they should look like this:

Their Grandma Nancy and Papa Layne weren't going to be able to make it for cake and ice cream on there birthday, so they came the day before. They brought the boys some cool motorcycles and cute outfits! I don't think they put their motorcycles down for a couple of days! Thanks guys!

They were excited to wake up and see this sign hanging on the wall. During their naps Justice helped me decorate their cakes. He is my little buddy and loves to help me.

Everyone came over later that night for cake and ice cream. We opened gifts first, and as you can tell from the pictures it was a bit of chaos. We then sang Happy Birthday and they blew out the candles. Thanks for all the gifts everyone gave them!

They were so excited about all their new toys and couldn't decide what to play with! They loved their new "Woody Buzz" stuff from Grandma Cheryl and Papa Bob, since they are obsessed with Toy Story 2 right now. And that is what they call it "Woody Buzz".

I didn't get any pictures of my Grandpa Grace there, but I was totally shocked he came. He had been sick and had fallen down the day before. But he showed up and brought them some cards and money and wrote them some cute noted in them. I love my Grandpa so much and am thankful that my kids get to know him and see the wonderful man he is!

I love Talon and Cardon so much, and am thankful that they are in my family! They are talking so much and make me laugh all the time. They are definitely 2 though and it is double the trouble! I love that one minute they are the best of friends, and then the next minute the worst of enemies! We love you guys and hope you had a great day!

Catching up for my sister Jess:)

So I have been a bit of a slacker lately and my sister Jess who lives in Arizona (who we miss so much) doesn't let me forget that I need to update! So since this is my only form of journaling/scrapbooking, there is a bunch this post so sorry:)

We went to the Farm Country at Thanksgiving Point with some of our good friends, Brandon, Candice, Aiya, and Khloe. The kids had tons of fun, and were so cute looking at the animals.

Justice is always setting up a ramp and to go off on his bike. This time he set one up so that Talon and Cardon could actually do it too. They had so much fun doing this. Justice also wanted to take some pictures of Brad and I. He thought that was so much fun to have us pose and pull crazy faces!

We signed up Justice to play soccer in Pleasant Grove this year. He did pretty good for the most part, but sometimes struggled and got bored. I don't know if he will be a soccer star, he was easily distracted, but it was fun watching.

Brad had a Muzzleloader deer permit in Vernon this year, and has been so excited about it because I kept telling him he wasn't gonna get a bigger buck that my Vernon deer. And he got a great buck, and yes it is a little bigger than mine, which I was happy for him! Thanks to my Dad and cousin John for going out with him! Good Job Brad!

We went to Cornbelly's and took my nieces Eryn and Kaitlyn. The kids had a blast and we had fun watching them on all the fun stuff!

Today at Justice's Preschool it was "Pocket Day"! They were supposed to wear as many pockets as they could. So I sewed some nifty pockets on a shirt for him, and he wore his cargo pants. I love that little kids think things are so neat! Justice loved the shirt and was so excited.

Talon and Cardon wanted their pictures taken after Justice. They are so funny and keep me laughing! One minute they are Best Friends, and one minute the worst of enemies. But they really do love each other so much!

Meeting Ryan Sheckler

Ryan Sheckler is a favorite around our house, at least to Justice and I. If you don't know who he is, he is a professional skateboarder. We heard that he was going to be at the South Towne Mall signing autographs during the Dew Tour. I was so excitied! And thanks to my Mom for watching Talon and Cardon so we could go!

Brad, Justice, and I headed up there and arrived at about 10. The autograph session didn't start until 1. Justice did so good for our 3 hour wait. There was a little bit of a line already, but the first 150 people got a wristband and were guaranteed to meet him, so we were glad for that! When they gave us our wristbands, they told us that we could only have 1 autograph each, and we couldn't hug him. And that we had to have our camera's ready because you only get 20 seconds to meet him.

When it was out turn, of course Justice went first. They were having anyone who had shirts on to sign take them off if they could to be signed. And they weren't letting people come around the table. Well when we asked him if he would sign Justice's shirt he said sure, come on around. Justice was so excited, and Ryan was so good with him. After he signed his shirt he said, "look at this kid, he is gangsta!" Justice thought that was so awesome! And then he asked Justice if he wanted a autographed picture too! He was so nice!

I love these pictures! I think they turned out so good!

Next I had my turn, and yeah I was as bad as all the teenager girls. I might have a little crush:) And yes girls, he is much cuter in person. And I felt so bad, Brad went next and I couldn't get the camera to work. But I promise he was there. The workers hurried us a long and wouldn't let us get one. Ryan looked at Brad and said, I am sorry man. He was way cool. And then when we were on our way out, I noticed that his best friend was walking in. And so the nerd that I am asked him if we could get a picture with him too? And he said sure. I asked him if it was creepy that we knew who he was, and he said No. We had a fun day and were glad we went. And on the way home Brad said that he was a fan now for sure, he was really surprised with how nice he was to Justice and all the fans!

Justice is in this video that Ryan Sheckler put on his facebook page!
I couldn't get it to link, so just copy and paste into your browser!

Our Boys

My friend was going to take her girls pictures one day and invited us to got along. Justice go all "Cowboyed Up" and I took these pictures of him. I think I got some really good ones, and thanks to my sister Jen for helping out editing them. I am probably biased, but I think he is such a handsome little cowboy!

Justice started his second year of Preschool on Tuesday! He was so excited, and so was his Mom:) He looked so handsome, I had to take some pictures.

And who can forget these little men! They are so funny right now, and love to say "cheese" when I am taking their picture! They are getting so big, and I cannot believe they will be 2 next month! They are talking constantly, and when they aren't biting, hitting, and pushing each other, they are giving each other hugs and kisses! They are such good buddies!

FaMiLy FuN

Brad has a Deer Tag this year in Vernon, so he took Justice out one day looking for deer. Justice loves to go hunting with his Dad! He cannot wait until he is old enough to hunt!

Brad had about 2 weeks off of work, so we tried to do some fun things with the kids. We went to a reservoir in Herriman. It has a sandy area and the kids think they are at the beach. We had tons of fun, and the best part is that it is free:)

My brother in law Corey is from Wallsburg and they do their town celebration on the 24th of July, so we went up their to celebrate Pioneer Day. We had a good time and Justice rode a sheep in the Rodeo! It was so cute and he did pretty good!
